Ozone in Fire, Flood & Trauma Restoration
Professional restorers use ozone to remove the strong odour of smoke after a fire or to prevent mould, mildew and other organisms when drying out personal effects after water damage.
Trauma damage and odours, animal or human can also be treated using ozone.
For the restoration professional, ozone is an essential tool in carrying out his trade. Insurance companies also recognise its worth and often insist on its use.
Smoke damaged furnishings and effects can be treated by placing them into a container and pumping ozone into the airspace.
The ozone requirements for an effective treatment are quite high and therefore require the larger S34 Silver Industrial UV ozone generator or the T4000 series ozone generator which is fitted with an internal pump. The pump unit is particularly effective for treating the wall cavities in a fire damaged building.
